Space Experiences

Founded by Jonny Dodge

Adventurer, Entrepreneur, Space Pioneer

Jonny Dodge has been immersed in aviation and space travel since childhood. As the founder of Space Experiences and the broader GPM Group of companies, he has built an unrivalled network across the space industry — from rocket engineers to astronauts to the founders of the world's leading spaceflight companies.

Space Experiences is one of the few agencies on Earth to have successfully flown clients to space — a distinction held by almost no other travel agency in the world. Through our work with Blue Origin, we placed clients aboard New Shepard flights, making them astronauts and making history.

Our advisory board includes a founder of Virgin Galactic, and our team has decades of experience creating world-first experiences — from Antarctica expeditions to deep submarine dives to supersonic jet fighter flights.

Frequently Asked Questions About Space Travel

How much does it cost to go to space?

The cost of space travel varies significantly depending on the type of experience. Zero Gravity flights, which simulate weightlessness aboard a modified Boeing 727, start from $8,900 per person. Edge-of-space jet fighter flights in aircraft such as the MiG-29 Foxbat start from $18,000. Stratospheric balloon voyages to 100,000 feet are available from $125,000. Suborbital spaceflight — crossing the Kármán line at 100 kilometres — is available from $250,000 with operators including Blue Origin (New Shepard) and Virgin Galactic (VSS Unity). Orbital missions to the International Space Station with Axiom Space start from approximately $35 million. Space Experiences can guide you through all options.

Can I book a Blue Origin flight through Space Experiences?

Space Experiences is an independent space travel advisory agency with deep relationships across the commercial spaceflight industry. We are one of the few agencies in the world to have successfully flown clients to space. We provide guidance on all available spaceflight options including Blue Origin's New Shepard programme, Virgin Galactic's spaceplane flights, Axiom Space orbital missions, and Zero Gravity Corporation's weightless flights. Contact our team to discuss your journey to space.

What space tourism companies are currently operating?

As of 2026, the main commercial spaceflight operators include: Blue Origin, founded by Jeff Bezos, which operates the New Shepard vehicle for suborbital flights; Virgin Galactic, founded by Sir Richard Branson, which offers spaceplane flights; Axiom Space, which operates private missions to the International Space Station; SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk, which has conducted private orbital missions including Inspiration4 and Polaris Dawn; Zero Gravity Corporation (ZERO-G), the only FAA-approved provider of commercial weightless flights in the US; and World View, which plans stratospheric balloon flights. Space Perspective previously offered balloon flights but ceased operations. Space Experiences monitors all operators and advises clients on the best options for their goals.

What is astronaut training like?

Astronaut training programmes vary by mission type. For Zero G flights, minimal preparation is needed — a brief safety briefing before the flight. Suborbital missions with Blue Origin or Virgin Galactic include one to three days of pre-flight training at the launch facility. Orbital missions to the ISS with Axiom Space require extensive preparation including high-G centrifuge training, spacecraft systems familiarisation, spacewalk procedures, emergency protocols, and physical conditioning. Space Experiences arranges comprehensive astronaut training programmes as part of every spaceflight package, including the option to meet and train alongside veteran astronauts.

Where is Space Experiences based?

Space Experiences operates from offices in London, Dubai, and Monaco, serving clients worldwide. Founded by Jonny Dodge, the company is part of the GPM Group and has been sending people to space since 2022. Our team has facilitated spaceflight bookings, astronaut training, Zero G experiences, and edge-of-space flights for clients across Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Whether you are based in the UK, UAE, US, or anywhere else in the world, our team can guide your journey to space.
