01 / Discover weightlessness

Zero gravity flights

Let go of gravity. Hold on to the moment.

Explore the sensation of floating aboard Novespace's Airbus A310 Zero G in Europe. The Air Zero G public discovery programme uses parabolic aircraft manoeuvres to create short periods of weightlessness, without travelling into space.

An experience unlike ordinary flight

The Airbus A310 Zero G follows a series of controlled parabolic arcs, creating reduced-gravity phases in its prepared cabin. Novespace operates the aircraft for both public discovery flights and scientific research, including ESA campaigns. The public experience is distinct from a scientific research campaign.

A journey shaped around you

Tell us whether you are travelling on your own, with friends or as a private group. We help you explore the European Airbus programme and understand its location, participant requirements and preparation. Flight dates, group arrangements and inclusions must be confirmed for the specific enquiry.

A first step, not a prerequisite

Weightless flight can be a memorable experience in its own right. It can also introduce some of the sensations associated with space travel, but it is not a spaceflight and does not qualify you for a future mission.

The European programme referenced here is Air Zero G aboard Novespace's Airbus A310 Zero G. Novespace operates the aircraft, and Avico markets the public discovery flights under the Air Zero G brand. ESA also uses this aircraft for research campaigns. The public discovery programme is separate from ESA's scientific campaigns.
